Mason: My Summer reading is Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs. The plot to the story is that 16-year-old Jacob is traumatized by the death of his grandpa and also that he saw the monster that killed him but no one believed him. After his 16th birthday he found pictures of odd children who were thought dead, so to see if they were really dead he went to the orphanage in Wales, where his grandpa lived before he went to the war. When he got there he found the blown up ruins of the orphanage but then lead by a group of people into a cave. After that he gets informed that he is Peculiar. He is the only one that can see the monsters, but once the monsters attack they are already escaping to London, the Peculiar city. |
