Charlotte: For my summer reading homework, I read Feed, by M.T. Anderson. It is set in a futuristic America, where people have feeds (tiny computers) installed in their heads when they are babies. The book is about a teenager named Titus and his friends. In the beginning of the book they go to the moon. While they are there, they meet a girl named Violet. Soon after they meet Violet, someone from the “coalition of pity” hacks their feeds. They get sent to a hospital, where their feeds are turned off until they can be fixed. |
